Open Repeater
There has been a question from the community about whether the RCRA 2-meter repeater is open or closed. It is an open repeater. While we have requested for one person to refrain from using our repeater, it is still an open repeater. We have determined this to be the case since we have investigated the answer to this question. We have looked at FCC cases, such as the one involving the K9WZ open repeater that told 3 hams to quit using that repeater. In addition, we have consulted with the ARRL.
